Signed-in users can add notes to each click either as soon as the action button is clicked, or by editing an existing click.

To add a click note each time an action button is clicked, the action button must have its Click Notes property set to Prompt Me (See: Edit an Action Button). Alternatively, the Settings > Options > Click Behavior > Click Notes setting can be set to Prompt Me (See: Set Click Notes Options) with the button's Click Notes property set to Use App Setting. In either case, as soon as the action button is clicked, the task pane will open where a note can be added. Click Notes can be up to 140 characters long. The area where the click note is entered displays the number of characters used and the number of characters remaining. After entering the click note, click the Save button to record both the click and the click note.

To add a click note to an existing click in an action button's history, click the Edit button beside the entry (See: Edit a History Entry). In the task pane, enter the text for the click note. Click Notes can be up to 140 characters long. The area where the click note is entered displays the number of characters used and the number of characters remaining. After entering the click note, click the Save button to record the click note.

Note: This option is only available to signed-in users. (See also: Sign Up, and Sign In)
